Guildrun Tools currently works without accounts. A random browser identifier connects your saves and creator controls on this device.

Information stored on this device

  • A random anonymous viewer token used for builds, saves, guide stars, deduplicated guide views, uploads, and reports.
  • Private guide edit keys, draft autosaves, author-name preference, and local UI state.
  • Local state used to display whether this browser saved or starred a post.

Clearing site data removes those local credentials. That can permanently remove this browser’s ability to edit an anonymous guide or prove it created a build.

Information stored in our database

Cloudflare D1 stores published and unlisted builds and guides, tags, timestamps, stars, deduplicated guide-view records, saved-library links, report records, upload metadata, content status, and daily abuse-control counters. Support requests also store their category, message, status, and optional reply email. Anonymous viewer and private edit tokens are sent with the relevant request to prove control, then hashed before database storage. Public abuse controls also transform the request IP address with a secret-key hash before counting activity; the application does not store the raw address in its database. We do not intentionally log or persist raw creator tokens server-side. A guide view is counted once per anonymous browser token; clearing site data creates a new token.

Images and infrastructure

Uploaded guide images are stored in Cloudflare R2 with an opaque key. We record file type, byte size, a content hash, status, uploader hash, and creation time. We do not retain the original filename. Hosting providers may process normal request data such as IP address, user agent, timing, and error logs to deliver and protect the service.

Limits, retention, and advertising

Daily counters limit anonymous publishing, uploads, and reports. Community content and uploaded media are retained while they remain part of the service or are needed for safety review. Automated orphan-image deletion and a formal retention schedule are not yet active. There is no advertising or cross-site ad tracking in the product today. Any future advertising launch will require a separate privacy and consent review before trackers are enabled.

Your choices

Use author controls to unpublish content you created. Use Report for a privacy, copyright, or safety concern attached to a specific post, or use the Contact form for a general request. Do not put phone numbers, addresses, account credentials, or other sensitive personal data in a public guide, build, author name, or screenshot.
