0.5.5 correctionsShard Resonator dropped from 1000 Shields to 600 in 0.5.3, then to 400 in 0.5.5. Duelist's Outbreak Banner lost its Attack-per-Debuff effect in 0.5.3 and was reworked again in 0.5.5: each Duelist auto now deals 15 bonus damage per type of Debuff on the target. Squire's Helm still grants more permanent Max HP than it did in the video. The old ranking is out of date. The video is from Demo 0.5.2, so its hero rankings may be outdated.
Chapter 02

Tank items

Squire's Helm can still be good on your main tank when nobody is standing in front. The defensive stats alone can make it worth buying.

Defense gets better with Max HP, shields, healing, and HP per second. Buy whichever piece your tank is missing.

Chapter 03

Positioning items

Deadeye Hood is strong when its holder can stay alone in the back row. If the fight forces you to group or split aggro, use an item that works with the new setup.

Check every item and relic after moving the board. One unit can turn an effect off.

Chapter 04

Starting bonuses

Aesah liked starts with a tank, Tilly, an Assassin, or early shard generation. Funke was another favorite in 0.5.2 before his nerfs.

He usually passed on Quantity over Quality, Quality over Quantity, Shard Maximizer, and extra Emergency Rewind reserve. Those were his streak choices for the old patch. Pick what helps your next fight.

Kai has Bulwark and Squire's Helm for immediate tank stats. Shard Resonator gives a 400 team shield now. The video uses the old 1000 value.
