Kai overview
The Unstoppable creates a feedback loop in which shielding raises attack and higher attack produces more shielding. The Bold converts him into an exceptional tank while expanding the reach of his cast. His main failure case is dying before the first ability, after which he is extremely difficult to remove.
How to use Kai
Game plan
- Pair him with one or two Mystics that can shield early.
- Cover his vulnerable opening seconds with starting mana or opening shields.
- Choose damage or tank itemization based on which role the team is missing.
Items
- Use attack and crit for damage, or defense when he is the main tank.
- Attack speed becomes the priority with the Warrior relic that grants shields on damage.
- Starting mana is valuable when no ally can shield him immediately.
Positioning Place tank Kai on the frontline where his enlarged cast can reach enemy backliners, with Mystic coverage close enough to protect his first cast.
Source limits He can fail abruptly when the team cannot protect him before his first ability.
