Red RiftDragomir is an excellent Act 1 damage and shard engine that usually loses his slot after his kills stop in Act 2.
Red RiftFiona is the creator's lowest-rated hero in this patch and is normally worth taking only when she appears already ranked.
Red RiftMing is a mediocre temporary tank or Vanguard who should usually be replaced after helping complete early Rift Seal requirements.
Red RiftNiklas is an awkward but workable frontline whose item consumption can create early shielding and preserve much of the invested economy.
Red RiftReyna is an early-game bridge whose Duelist route is powerful in Act 1 but normally gives way to a higher-ceiling carry in Act 2.
Red RiftRip is one of the best early and late tanks, although his Rush-driven performance drops sharply against single bosses.
Red RiftRowan may be the tankiest hero in raw terms, but his low early damage demands a capable carry beside him.
